Kids Gardening workshop {design & create a miniature garden}
Calling all miniature gardeners!
Back by popular demand, Sailer’s Greenhouse is hosting another Kids Gardening Workshop. We are dedicating a WHOLE weekend to miniature gardening!
For one weekend, our greenhouses turn into a miniature gardener’s dream. From fancy fairies to dazzling dragons, critters to cottages, we have everything you need to create your own enchanting masterpiece.
If fairies are not your favorite, you can also make a farm garden, beach garden, woodland gnome garden or a magical dragon garden… to name a few.
You and your kids can stop in anytime between 10 am and 3 pm on April 8th or 9th. Your kiddos will be able to create their own miniature garden in a casual and fun environment. Our expert design team will help each of the little gardeners plant their own miniature masterpiece and teach them how to care for it.
This workshop is perfect for kids of all ages to get their hands dirty and let their imaginations run wild. What’s the best part for the parents? The dirt stays in our greenhouse and not in your house!
We will also be featuring our friends from O’Cheeze food truck. After the kids work up an appetite gardening, enjoy a tasty gourmet grilled cheese sandwich from this popular downtown food truck.
Please register though our Eventbrite page which day you will be attending and the number of children making containers. You MUST register if you wish to attend.
Cost: $12.00 class fee. The class fee includes pot and soil. Kids choose from four different brightly colored bowls. Fairy garden accessories and plants are purchased additionally. You pay for whatever materials you use. Average cost of a garden is $30.00.
