Raised Bed Gardening Workshop
We are so excited to host Melissa Wilsford, master gardener and owner of Rustic Hills Garden Co. Join us Saturday, April 10th at 1:00 pm for a small group seminar covering everything you need to know about growing vegetables in a raised bed.
The easiest way to both start a garden and manage it long term is with raised beds! This workshop will cover the pros and cons of different types of raised beds, the best practices for building your own, and solutions for keeping out wildlife. We will also discuss how to use succession and companion planting in raised beds to make the most out of the space, and how raised bed planting is different from traditional row gardening. Each attendee will go home with reference materials, including tried-and true layouts and plant combinations!
