Plant mounting workshop and other vertical planting
Running out of room for houseplants in your home? It’s time to think outside the pot. Take advantage of the vertical space in your home by mounting your greenery.
Join us for a Plant Mounting Workshop on March 4th. (10 am and 1pm) You will leave with a beautiful living decor piece for your home.
Many plants actually grow on trees. In nature, Epiphytic plants grow vertically attached to other plants and trees. By mounting them on various surfaces you can mimics their natural tendencies, while also creating rugged, yet elegant decor for your home.
During the workshop, you will have an assortment of plants to work with. Including staghorn ferns, bromeliads, orchids, hoyas and tillandsias. We will have various surfaces to mount them on. Whether it is a simple cedar plank, modern frame or rustic driftwood, we will have many choices to fit your decor.
Sailer’s Greenhouse horticulturists and designers will be on hand to make mounting your plants easy and fun. We will educate you on the right plants to mount, techniques and how to care for them. We will have other vertical planting options to explore as well.
