Houseplant Repotting Workshop
Do you have houseplants that are in need of repotting, but you’re just not sure how to tackle the project? Join us for a “Houseplant Repotting Workshop" on March 23rd. Drop in anytime from 10:00 am- 3:00 pm and let Sailer’s Greenhouse staff help you with a successful upgrade.
Plus, you can keep the dirt in the greenhouse and out of your home!
Our staff will be on hand to help you make the transition along with advice on how to care for your plant in it’s new pot. This is a great way to revitalize your plants without making a mess in the house! Some topics that our staff will help you with: size of pot, soil, watering, cache pots, sunlight, fertilizer, staking and pruning.
Signs your houseplant needs to be repotted.
-Soil drys out very quickly and the plant needs to be watered all of the time.
-Roots are growing through the drainage holes.
-Roots are pushing the plant out of the pot.
-The plant keeps tipping over and is too top heavy.
If you don’t have a houseplant that needs an upgrade but you are in the market for a new houseplant. We will also help you choose the right houseplant and how to style it.
No need to bring in anything except a plant that needs to be repotted. We will have everything you need on hand. If the weather is cold, please protect your plant when transporting it.
