Seed Starting Workshop with Melissa Wilsford of Rustic Garden Co.

Did you know, it’s time to start your garden now?! Join us February 23rd for  a hands-on, informative workshop on how to get your seeds started for spring.

Learn how to start seeds for your garden using two methods: winter sowing and indoor seed starting. Workshop attendees will get to participate in both types of seed starting and bring their newly planted items home. The workshop presentation will also discuss materials, timing and methods for starting additional seeds at home, as well as how to care for young seedlings until they are ready to go into the garden. 

Please bring 2 empty, cleaned, transparent or semi-transparent one-gallon milk jugs or 2-liter bottles to make your “mini greenhouses” for winter sowing! We will provide the rest!
