We are dedicating a full day to terrariums! We will explore the art of creating a self-sustaining miniature ecosystem! Not only are terrariums ascetically appealing, but they are beneficial to your space. Beginners to experienced gardeners, this workshop is perfect for any age and great for anyone interested in bringing a touch of green into their lives.
Join us Saturday, February 22. We will have demonstrations, inspiration and all the materials you need to create a stunning terrarium. You are welcome to drop in anytime from 10 am-5 pm and make a beautiful terrarium or join one of our demonstrations. Your friends at Sailer’s will be on hand all day to help you select the right plants and teach you how to care for them.
10:00 am Introduction to Terrariums demonstration.
We will help you create a beautiful little ecosystem for your home and how to keep it thriving. Choose from our beautiful selection of glass vessels. The greenhouse will be filled with itty- bitty plants including tiny succulents, miniature ferns, fun foliage, air plants and cool carnivorous plants. Decorate your terrarium with our new accents including colorful rocks, moss and enchanting little friends.
2:00 pm Kids Carnivorous Terrarium demonstration.
Dive into the fascinating life of carnivorous plants and how to care for them.We will help kiddos create an exciting little bog planter. Choose from mini carnivorous plants, moss, pots and plenty of cool little creatures to tuck in your creation.
